These Terms of Use govern your use of the Reversa app ("Reversa", "the app", "we"), available for iOS and Android. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.
Reversa is a calorie-equivalence calculator: you enter a calorie target and get the equivalent amount of a food (or the other way around — you enter an amount and get the calories), with derived macros when available. The app also lets you save favorites and log a food diary.
The nutritional information shown is informational, based on food composition tables (the Brazilian TACO table, Open Food Facts, and items curated by our team). Reversa does not replace the guidance of a nutritionist, physician, or other health professional. Decisions about diet, dietary restrictions, or health conditions should be made with professional supervision.
An account is required to use the app (email/password, Google, or Apple) — your favorites, profile, and diary data are tied to your account. Reversa is intended for users aged 13 and older. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
Reversa offers a free plan with the calculator's core functions, and a PRO plan with extra features (e.g., detailed macronutrients, unlimited favorites, full diary). PRO is sold in three cycles — monthly, quarterly, or annual — all with a free trial period. Billing is processed by the app stores (App Store / Google Play), subject to their billing and cancellation policies: cancellation happens directly in the store, and PRO access continues until the end of the period already paid for. Plan benefits may change with prior notice in the app.
You agree not to: (a) attempt to access other users' data; (b) reverse-engineer the app beyond what's legally permitted; (c) use the app for unlawful purposes or in ways that violate third-party rights.
Reversa's brand, logo, design, and code belong to Reversa or its licensors. The food catalog incorporates public data (the TACO table from NEPA/UNICAMP, Open Food Facts), credited on each food's entry when applicable.
You can delete your account at any time from the app. Deletion removes your profile, favorites, diary, and notification token data tied to the account, as detailed in the Privacy Policy.
Reversa is provided "as is". We don't guarantee the app will be free of errors or interruptions. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for health or diet decisions made based on the app's information without adequate professional supervision.
We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by email. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil.
